HI What appliance timer should I get for the Brewtus 2? The one that I was using, rated at around 1700 watts, has "burned out". I do not know if that was due to an electrical problem in my house (there may be one - I am also looking into that) of if the timer itself could not handle the load. I see on the label "975 watts" - but I see it twice - i assume once for the steam boiler and once for the espresso boiler.
So do I need a timer that handles up to 1950 watts? I took a quick look and the ones I found top out at around 1750 or so. like I had. I use the appliance timer to have the brewtus turn on an hour or two before I wake up every morning so the machine is well warmed up for my first shot.....
