Yes both at 120v relative to ground. Steam boiler is the same way except one 
lead goes to zero when heating.

I tested the brew boiler on the steam boiler circuit, just to make sure it 
heated and the PID was reading temperature. What I want to do is bypass the 
pressurestat so it is always in a state that gives the brew boiler power. I 
attemped to so this by wiring the pressurestat control direct to the brew 
boiler. It didn't work because I have a problem with the relay and/or PID on 
the brew boiler circuit.

I saw your thread. They sound like similar issues. I will call wholelattelove 
tech support this morning.
