Nice, getting the lever type wands? I keep thinking I should do that...maybe next time.
On the vacuum valve--there is an o-ring that can get crusty, usually cleans up really easily and the mating surface as well. Otherwise just the o-ring is all you need. They're about 5 cents, look in the archives for my post on the part number. The over pressure has a teflon seal and I just would check its mating surface also. And hey, might as well see how it all works, right? After all, you didn't come this far because you're not interested... :) I did find some good schematics of the e61 group, fortunately, after I took mine apart without noting how it came apart. There are various types of shafts, i.e. triangular, etc. that make it pretty easy. Such a simple genius of a system... On the auto-refill circuit, this really is important I think. The electromagnet fits around a tube, inside that tube is a plunger that snaps back and forth. That plunger was covered with scale/stone in my case, very fine layer, and it was sticking. I think this ultimately led to some of my other problems. Instead of soaking, I used the back of a blade (carefully) and scraped off the stone until smooth. There's also a rubber seal in there to check, and a small triple orifice. Too much fun! bmc Sent from my apple IIe > On Aug 11, 2015, at 10:01, James Roybal <[email protected]> wrote: > > Nice catch on the group lol.
