I worked on human powered bikes. I used to be a really hard core rider and still have more bike frames and parts lying around than I know what to do with. Now I'm old and fat and never ride more than about 30 miles at a time, only in really nice weather, and skip the really tough hills. But I can still keep my gear working pretty well... Motorized stuff I never had an aptitude for. I remember trying to adjust the valves on a '68 VW, my first car, and giving up in frustration despite having the idiots guide to VW repair do me no good at all. I felt similar getting too far into the innards of the Brewtus...
