You will need to program the controller after you receive it. If you purchase it from Furneco, it is usually set up for "cold" and not "heat". It is easy to change it with the provided programming instructions---I think P0 is changed from 0 to 1. Some of the other parameters may need changing. If you need those parameters, just post a request . Also, while the controllers in the Brewtus units supplied to WLL hid the temperature overshoot, the replacement controller will not, so don't be surprised if the temp climbs to 98 or 99 before heading back down...
This was some very helpful advice from Rob Combs: "Programming is pretty easy. With the unit powered on: Press both arrow up and arrow down buttons for about 10 seconds the display will indicate programming parameter C0. Press the set button once. Press down arrow key until the display reads -5. Press set Press up arrow until display reads C1 Press set press up arrow until display reads 1 Press set Press up arrow until display reads C2 Press set Press up arrow to +99 Press set. Same process for each parameter C3 = -45 C4 = 1 C5 = 0 C7 = 0 C8 = 1 d0 = 1 d1 = 0 d2 = 2 d3 = 5 L5 = 0 L6 = 0 PU = 0 P0 = 0 --- The only thing is that I think this is an error and should be "1", not 0 P1 - P7 = 0 EP programming exit point - press set . Take your time, mind your wiring plan and it's a 5 to 10 minute job. " On Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 4:05:46 PM UTC-8, Jenni Moser wrote: > > Need to replace the temp probe for my original Brewtus.
