Greetings, I'm hoping I'm in the clear now with my ongoing leaky steam wand. It's been almost a week and no leaks at all. I went with yellow teflon tape which seems to be thicker than the regular white. Maybe I just didn't wrap the threads properly last time (with the white tape) and that caused the problems. Last time, it lasted about a year before any leaks occurred so who knows? I might be revisiting this again in the summer of 2018.
For now though, things appear to be working well and its great to have the espresso machine back in action.
