Hey Bruce— The yellow tape is rated for gas and is indeed thicker. But, with the proper number of wraps, the white will hold just fine also. You’d have to look at the label, but if memory serves the yellow takes 3 turns minimum, and the white maybe 5 or 7. Glad it’s holding in any case.
As an aside, do you (or others) have a method/product for lubricating the steam joystick? Mine has gotten pretty dry and not sure what to use on it.
