Well, fill the water of course, and then I’d add a food-grade weight to the line with stainless wire. I’d also remove the water softener filter for now, to be sure it’s not plugged and starving the pump, which might cause your symptoms also. If possible, inject water into the line with a turkey baster to establish prime. Best, bmc
