PTFE should easily tolerate the heat in your machine. Melts at 650f. Stainless housing is for abrasion. It doesn't insulate. I think its often better to avoid because it hides the condition of the actual tubing. Big problem when car enthusiasts replace their oem brake lines with upgraded stainless, you need to replace the stainless on a schedule because you can no longer determine their condition.
I have an ancient b2 and my Teflon tubing is still going strong. I have the older style screw on couplers. One time when I was disassembling the cone-end of my tubing failed, I cut it square and made a new cone end with needle nose pliers. That was like 8 years ago. I don't know anything about these new fittings. Maybe check McMaster Carr or some hose supplier to see if someone has the older style fittings?
