My 10 year old IV-R has started venting steam from the release valve on top of the steam boiler. At the same time, the pressure guage is showing 0 pressure and it does not move. It seems as if the boiler is neither providing pressure to the guage nor the OPV.
I have never had to repair my machine and my analysis of the problem might be wrong. Also, I did not find this problem reported to this group before -- or at least I didn't recognize such a report. Lots of stuff about the OPV but nothing about the simultaneous 0 pressure reading on the steam guage. I don't know how to diagnose and fix the problem. Any advice?
