We've got 8 Banks novels, only one of them published outside the US. We
managed to get some of them new, shortly after they came out, but 1 or 2
of them were bought used. We've got a specialty bookstore here in Austin
that sometimes has UK editions of titles that are out of print in the US,
that's how I got the 1 UK edition.
Lots of SF goes out of print quickly here. I've taken to buying stuff as
soon as it comes out, if it's something I'm likely to want to own later.
