Except for the opening scene (which ceases to have shock value and 
becomes simply scatalogical) and the parts about Fwi-Song. Those do 
*not* improve upon re-reading.

I still can't figure out whether _Consider Phlebas_ has a happy 
ending or not. In fact, I still can't figure out whether _A Player of 
Games_ has a happy ending or not...
