Yeah, I have heard about that..... (being at the game, I did not watch the
ESPN coverage.)   As it is, a professor of physics at the University of
Rochester reached exactly the opposite conclusion.

For me, the most compelling evidence is simply picking up a football, and
trying to throw it a couple times.   The conclusion that the lateral must
have been forward becomes inescapable.
