Well thanks for the responses so far. The reason I mentioned the 'Place me
on your don't call list' speech was that they can call you back when they
feel like it, when your number again pops up in the rotation. If you tell
them 'don't call list' and they do, after 6 - 8 weeks then you can take
legal action against them. What a hassle that would be.
While laying awake here at night, what I do best, the coast to coast show,
the one that's usually about UFOs and so on, is talking about privacy and
fraud right now. Not that I normally listen to the show......
But what got to me was the service the phone company offers, for a price.
The unknown callers would be blocked from your number. In other words they
are making money no matter what. Just another way to keep the man down.
