Not your fault?

Sorry, Chad, but everything that went on in Florida is exactly the voter's fault.

A voter does not have a right to vote in a quick and easy manner with little thought.
They have a right to vote with careful consideration "commensurate with the solemnity
of the occasion."M

Now, *should* the ballots be as simple and easy as possible? Yes. The Florida
ballots almost certainly falled the "simple and easy" test. *Must* they? Alas, no.

If a voter can reasonably be expected to find the candidate of their choice, the
balloting is perfectly legal. And let's face it, anybody who spends more than 60
seconds examining the ballot can easily come up with the correct choice. Indeed, a
Florida school teacher ran a "favorite Disney Character" vote with the same type of
ballot, and 74 out of 74 2nd graders managed to vote correctly.

Come on now, do we really want people who couldn't follow an arrow to a dot deciding
the President of the United States?
