No kidding. Some of the questions were deliberately designed to make
respondents look dumber than they were. For example, it might be very
easy to guess that Eminem is a rap artist - but picking out which set of
Shakespeare's plays contains three tragedies, is much different than naming
three tragedies on one's own. Likewise, picking out three obscure works
by Dickens is much differnt than naming three works on your own.
How come all the "serious" cultural references were pick a correct set of
three, while the "pop" stuff was simply pick one?
