StarTrek: the Next Generation... the only name that comes to mind for the
episode is "Star Child", but I could be wrong.  In the episode Troy is
"impregnated" by a strange space entity while she was sleeping in her
quarters.  They feared the pregnancy might be a danger to Troy so the doctor
suggested aborting it...  Troy refused.  That's the only refference that has
come to mind so far... I will keep searching my mind for more references to
abortion, but I don't think I'll find any more.  I think that was the
exception rather than the rule.  Seeing as it was only suggested because they
feared for Troy's life, one can't exactly say that abortion was "accepted" by
that example, especially since Troy refused... her refusal, considering the
circumstances, suggested the opposite.
