Well, the ounces came from the ultrasound place, which is near downtown
Austin, and the measurement in centimeters was at my obstetrician's
office, in Round Rock; and as long as we know how to get from Austin to
Round Rock, it can't be all that bad, can it?  ;)

Seriously, my uterus doesn't give a damn about measurement units, and
that's the vital component of the whole thing.  I figure women were giving
birth for uncounted generations before this whole measurement system
problem ever came up....  (They'll give us the birth weight in pounds and
ounces, it's what they do here.  Sigh.)
