If we are talking about Centigrade being ideal because of the Zero thing you
soooo wrong.
Basing a system on when water freezes and boils is ludicrous, because these
values fluctuate based upon air pressure. At 30 PSI, water boils at 160
Degrees F (or around there, something like that). Anyone care to translate
that for the Fahrenheit-challenged?
The IDEAL and most rational scale is, of course, Kelvin. Astrophysicists use
it, and so can you!
