Well, you are weird.  ;-)  But seriously, you should see the rude people at
comic book conventions.  I have seen folks hand literally an author/artist's
*entire* run on a book over for signing.  I'm in the same camp as you; I
pick my favorite of the creator's works, and have him sign that.
