Well there you go, that was my very first one.

It wasn't so much that as the intrusive picture takings that seemed rather
annoying to me.   That, and those people that insisted on having their
entire Brin libraries be autographed.   Maybe I'm weird or something, but
to me, the decent thing to do seemed to bring just one book that you might
like signed.   Having five (or more!) signed seemed like overkill and also
an undue burden.

JDG - who is sure that if he ever wrote anything would start to find the
whole autograph business a bit ridiculous after a while.
