First off...have any dope I can use to plant in her yard....I'll
clean the seeds out....
The problem is that there is an unused alley between us, more
like un-improved. Since I'm on the end I can just pull right up
into it..but I have a big truck and the alley is small. I can't
drive up there without being on her ground.
The reverse problem is that she, or someone, owns the strip of
land perpendicular to the alley and runs the length of my house.
Before her house was built, and she's the second people to live
there in three years, the owner of the un-improved land cut the
grass and weeds along my fence (right on the edge of my boundary)
and would also cut my half of the alley, just to be nice. I would
cut the front of the strip, cause it made mine look better. Since
the house was put up no one has cut the weeds. So as soon as the
weeds get over the limit I'm calling the codes officer to complain.
And yeah, I wouldn't have cared if she had asked me....she might
not have seen me at first but I stood up and was only 10 yards
from my truck when I saw her writting down the plate number. I
took one step and she scurried away.
I don't think being on a table at the edge would matter. During
the summer I'm out back every evening throwing horseshoes,
listening to music, drinking beer....this was the first I even
saw anyone outside of that house during the day.
Ah the beauty of urban living.
