No, no, no... Q has supplied him with stockings that can be used as parachutes.  He 
just kicks off his shoes and pulls the ripcords (that look like loose threads) and 
they deploy.  So he's entering the water at a speed of ~ 1.875 m/s.  And he only goes 
1.92 m into the water because his belt is a floatation device that automatically 
deploys when he hits the water.
