Um, Alberto, there are only 30 days in April. Or is this "April 31" part
of the residual effect of not being able to add, subtract or remember
exact numbers correctly?

About 30 days corresponds to the number of days in a month, but in the
Bible, the figure of 40 days comes up a lot, and it was explained to me
that it meant "a long time". So your "40 days" could just be the length
of time it takes for your brain to get back to normal, without being
exactly 40 days. :)

p.s. Speaking of numbers, I started using the word "proctonumerology"
which I saw here in a post of Andrea's once, my husband picked up the
habit, and now it's being used by his co-workers and maybe spreading its
way through the rest of the company.
