Um, I think she meant "tea". And I hadn't thought of that reading of that
spelling for some reason. Darn vague familiarity with non-English
European languages, making me miss something like that! ;)

who has at various times studied German, Spanish, Latin and French, but
not to the point of real usefulness with any of them anymore (except to be
able to identify just *which* language something is in, which can be
useful at times, plus being able to use whatever Spanish might come in
handy at a Tex-Mex restaurant with some staff not fluent in English, or
make extremely minor small talk at the bus stop)
