No, John, we're not interested in "scoring debating points" -- we have
better things to do. The Europeans actually care about this world and the
people who live in it.

Well, it's an outrage, of course. It's an outrage that while US politicians
and businesses only care about earning profits (thus keeping the wealthy
few the happy few), the Europeans dare to be concerned about the world
we'll be leaving for our children and grandchildren. Like the Americans,
the Europeans should selfishly only care about today and themselves, and
about how they can get as wealthy as possible, as fast as possible. So what
if we wreck the planet and create an ecological disaster area for future
generations to live in? By the time the planet *is* an ecological
nightmare, our generation will be dead anyway. So why bother; it's our
grandchildrens' problem, not ours. Let *them* solve the problem.
Bloody Europeans. Must be because their minds have been poisoned for
decades with all that socialist thinking...
