Sammy's bilirubin level was 22 on Wednesday, 22 yesterday, and down to
18.3 today.

We will not have to take him to the hospital for the major UV "baking"
there (why does everyone use that term?), but we will have to keep him on
the light blanket at least until we take him in to get yet another blood
test done Monday morning.

Each time we've taken him in to get the blood taken, it's been the same
technician getting his blood, and it breaks her heart to have to hurt him
to get the blood. Today he took it reasonably well; he was asleep when we
started, woke up rather unhappily at the pricking of his heel, and had
managed to get back to sleep before the little band-aid went on him.

The one good thing about this is that the light blanket has made life a
lot more complicated, and this happened early enough that it's going to
suddenly seem a lot easier once we no longer have to keep him on it.
