Well, we got to ditch the light blanket yesterday when we got the results
from that day's bilirubin test -- it was 11.5, which was acceptable.

So last night, Sammy decided he needed to be fed every 2 hours from about
9PM to around 3AM. I got less than an hour's worth of sleep before 3AM.
And he decided to spit up right on the middle of my front -- just got my
skin, but it dribbled down into the nursing bra, which kept it from going
any further. (A load of laundry was done today....) So it was less
complicated than it would have been with the light blanket, but still not
really smooth. At some later feeding, we both fell asleep; I woke up with
him across my chest, supported with one arm, and laid him back down in his
little bed. (Check out http://www.armsreach.com/product_univ.asp to see
what he's sleeping in at night. My only complaint is that I have to go
down to the end our bed to get out of it, or across Dan's side if he isn't
there, and it's not easy to do if I'm holding Sammy.)

Dan let us both sleep late, and I didn't get breakfast until after 11, and
kind of spaced lunch for awhile. I'm going to need some serious snackage
before bed -- dinner just didn't quite cut it for filling me up. :)

Oh, we found out today that putting him in the stroller is about as good
as putting him in the car for calming him down to a sleepy state, which is
good to know. (And tomorrow we'll try to take a longer walk with him.)

        Julia
