Without making light of the incident, or picking on Alberto, I just have to 
say that the message above struck me as doubly ironic:

(1)  If one believes he did this for _science_, that _heaven_ would be 
assumed to be his reward, and

(2)  If one believes in "heaven," that an adult child who murdered his 
parents and other family members in cold blood because they wouldn't let 
him have his way would be presumed to go there, rather than the somewhat 
warmer other place.
