I think that's perhaps the implicit declaration being made by those arguing for that stance; not arguing that other stances are invalid but that they personally wish to not live under that yoke. Works for me - I'm a conscriptionless parasite from Canada draining the US defense mechanism for my personal protection. :) Of course, I'm also paying US taxes which funds that defense mechanism, and not collecting on all of the benefits.
