It's not *my* computer, it's my work machine and I think company policy is pretty specific I'd get in real trouble for cracking demo software! Anyway, after 6pm they do some kind of network maintenance or something that spins your drive and wht it says is available space fluctuates quite a bit, but that doesn't prevent you from doing anything as long as the network is up and your disk isn't *totally* full. But IT doesn't like people working after six and assumes they've not only left but maybe that their machines are turned off (most are, esp with the power crisis.) Jeez. Kristin
