My point was this- the founding fathers were lawyers
but the bulk of their efforts for quite a long time
was to create a document that would serve as the
foundation of a government.  That government would
serve as a net souce of good <bow to JDG> to it's own
people and the world.  I certainly wan't implying they
weren't concentrating on their work or that they
weren't trying to slip in an item to further their own
ends once in awhile.  I *am* going to go out on a limb
and say that their words and deeds place them above
the modern definition of lawyers.
