Oops, forgot to reply to this point, which is very good. Suppose our missile
shield is very, very, good -- 95% effective, so only 1 in 20 missiles gets
through. What happens when the Chinese build 1,000 more missiles to counter
our shield? Unless we are willing to take 50 missile hits, I think our
missile shield becomes irrelevant.
Can China build 1,000 missiles? Does it have 1,000 missiles now? I don't
know. I'm pulling a number out of thin air, admittedly.
