You know, all this talk of "Fire & Ice" and Frost and what-not reminds me
of a funny sign on Rte. 101 in New Hampshire (somewhere between Keene &
Wilton, can't remember which side of Peterborough it's on now).

"Frost Free Library"

The story is, in the days where you had to pay to be able to borrow books
from many libraries, some folks set up free libraries, and someone by the
name of Frost set one up. But the sign just cracks me up.

The other sort of sign I'm reminded of has a grosser context. Don't
scroll down if you're weak in the stomach right now.

One of my English teachers in high school pointed out to me about how
proud they seemed to be in New Hampshire about commemorating any place
where Robert Frost had thrown up, hence all the signs about "Frost
Heaves". :P

who's dealt with too much spit-up lately to be squeamish about that sort
of thing right now
