I have the D&D3 Player's Handbook and the rule changes seem pretty good.  I
haven't played a campaign based in it though.  I haven't had the time or the
$$$ to buy all the new stuff.  (The only reason I have the Player's Handbook
is because a friend gave me a gift certificate for Xmas.)   However, my
friends who have played D&D3 say the changes have all been very much for the
better.
