Ok, here's an attempt by me.

Muhammad bin Abdullah, Edward Gibbon, Bediuzzman Said Nursi, Ivan Grozny,
"Bang" Sukarno, Mao Zedong, Ho Chi Minh, Hassan al Banna, Zarathustra, Ibn
Khaldun, Shamil Dagestani, and there are others but at 11pm at
night i can't think of any more.

I don't necessarily admire all of  the above (though some i do), but they
certainly were great people.  And of some names are unfamiliar, there is
always encarta.com, or the ilk... :)
