Actually, today he was here in town. Whatever else some may say about him,
he demonstrated one trait that far too few of his predecessors
had: promptness. He actually arrived a few minutes early. And one of my
students who daylights as a member of the sheriff department's tactical
squad (and so had to work a long day to help insure security at one of the
locations he was visiting) even had time to change into civilian clothes
and make it to class on time. (He had warned me he might be late, and
Tuesday, after working on the preparations for the visit of the POTUS, he
came to class over an hour late, still in uniform.)
At least he didn't get a haircut while he was in town . . .
