True enough. However, I think this is the way world works - you build on the
works of others, they build on yours. Unless of course, you are claiming
that this vast intellectual wealth was created in a total intellectual
vacuum as far as the inputs of any other country is concerned. :o)

No arguements with your personal belifs. It is just that when I am asked to
uphold somebody else's opinion as the truth, I like to have reasons that
make sense to me.

Not being a European,I wouldn't presume to speak on their behalf. However,
as an Asian, I would say that I too believe that there is more to greatness
than accumulation of material wealth.

True. As there will be always be those who interpret a difference of opinion
as an attack on indisputable greatness.
