You expect me to take that as any sort of an insult?

It may not take much to amuse me, but it takes the right *sort* of thing
to amuse me.  Kind of like you have to be careful of the activity you
offer my sister if you're inviting her out on a date, but it can be fairly
inexpensive and she'll like it.  (A picnic someplace pretty was a favorite
of hers at one point.)  She can be a "cheap date" for some value of "cheap
date", and as long as everyone understands what definition of "cheap date"
is being used, it's not at all insulting, and can, in fact, be taken as a
compliment.

Of course, something more complicated can amuse me just as nicely, just as
my sister won't say "no" if you offer to take her to someplace like City
Grill (which is about as expensive as we ever eat out).
