You certainly sounded like you're equating "freedom" with "Republican". You
literally said "That Kristin, is called freedom, and its Republican". I
don't see any other possible interpretation of that sentence than the
meaning "freedom = Republican".

How typical American to call "someone forcibly taking your money" a
restriction of freedom. Over here in Europe, we just call it "theft". :-)

If they want more *economic* freedom, why are they against greater
*personal* freedom? A few examples: if it were up to the Reps, abortion
would be outlawed, thereby taking away a woman's freedom to make decisions
about what goes on in her own body. If it were up to the Reps, prayer would
be mandatory in all schools, thereby infringing a person's right to freedom
of religion. Lemme guess, if it were up to the Reps, homosexuality would
also be illegal?

YUCK! Do you have any idea how pathetic that sounds?
Your comment gives me the same feeling I get from evangelists and
door-to-door salesmen: they're so smooth, when you try to grab them they'll
slip right through your fingers...
