I'd just point out that the United States is bi-partisan when it comes to
isolating ourselves from the international community.
Today in the Senate, the Democrats won the first procedural battle in their
effort to hold Mexican trucks to tougher safety standards than American or
Canadian trucks, in violation of the North American Free Trade Agreement
(which unlike the treaties Bush is isolating us from, is a treaty we have
actually signed and ratified.)
