Obviously, that's a question only you can answer. So, what's the answer?

While you're at it, let's change the scenario a bit. Now, when you back out
of the obligation, your girlfriend will not only cease to love you, but also
won't consider you a friend anymore. How much would you have to be offered
to back out of the obligation now?
