I don't care whose "fault" the dispute over Java is (If I asked somebody
at Sun, they'd probalby blame you guys. Job requirement you know.) many
are EVERYBODY's falt. The problem is, consumers get caught in the middle
as big companies bully each other around. ANd it is the end consumer who
gets hurt.
anybody remember DIsney bullying TimeWarner (not that TimeWarner is such a
good guy; they're both thousand pound gorills and then some) into carrying
Disney Channel on the basic tier "OR WE'LL TAKE AWAY YOUR BROADCAST ABC
STATION!" and they actually made good on that threat in New York and LA
(for awhile.) depriving VIEWERS of their tv and making customers into
pawns! Made me wish Disney had not been allowed to buy ABC. Everything is
turning into monpolies.
