now just to make JDG mad: I wish the Catholics would relent on birth
control...I have a problem with religions that insist you breed and breed.
Yes, I KNOW the theological basis for what the pope says, but I think the
*results* are terrible. The rhythm method is not a very effective method
of family planning. but...i mean, it's not Catholics HERE that are the
problem, it's the ones in places like Latin America and they keep their
birthrate up when the move here. the reilgion and whole culture are
deeply tied together and it makes for huge families.
