actualy I was thinking of farm workers in California who are very poor and
have nine nad 10- kids.

OK, well equal opportunity I 'll just insult Brazilians. I think the
Brazilian shoe industry is not only putting US and even EUropean shoe
factories out of business it's twice as evil because the cows lived on
land that used to be rain forest. Cheap leather AND cheap labor mean US
shoe industry can't compete. I would never buy a hamburger from a cow that
lived in Brazil (but you can get fresher meat that lived here) but I bet a
lot of the shoe leather on the market came from the destruction of rain
forest! So don't get self righteous about *Chinese* goods.
