If I am inside my house, and you are fooling around just outside my front
door for an extended period of time, making noises that sound like you
might be getting ready to break down the door, don't be surprised if when I
open the door I have a shotgun in my hands, especially if you broke down my
front door and ransacked my home a few years ago.
One stance is *offensive*, one is *defensive*.
