In my group of RPGers - oh, nostalgia, it's 17 years since we had
a decent game! - we took any opportunity to twist the rules and
turn the PCs into demigods - sometimes successfully :-)

I won't repeat myself - I bet y'all are tired of hearing me talk about
the "Finger of DM" monster...
