John Steakley's 'armor' and Steve Perry's 'the man who
never missed', along with startide rising, the uplift
war and ender's game are at the top of my list. did
anyone mention Joe Haldeman's 'forever war'? oh, and
my few fantasy selections: Terry Brooks 'Shannara'
series, and David Eddings 'belgariad' and 'malloreon'
series. and the ubiquitous Tolkien, of course. easy
to get carried away with this.. =)
