In a word, NO. I've already rated Ringworld as 1 out of 10, only cos 0 is

not in the number set. One of very few books I could not finish.  And

generally I like Niven's stuff - at least his early stuff. >>


Gosh, Ringworld is one of my alltime favorite books - the ultimate "Wow!" SF 
book in my opinion. True, I didn't like Ringworld Engineers and I never read 
Ringworld Throne. But I would rate Ringworld 11 out of 10.
