First, however, let me repeat: I am *not* advocating non-violence;
I don't give a fucking centavo about what the terrorists think, because
the best thing to do with the idea that lies inside the mind of
a terrorist is to make it the neighbour of a bullet.
However, I advocate that the *prevention* of terrorism must be
a battle of ideas.
So, for example.
Imagine a TV series whose major character is a _Crusader_, that
goes to Palestina with his heart full of anger, willing to kill every
desecrator of the Christian holy places. When he arrives there,
he is captured, and learns the peaceful and civilized ways of Islam.
I imagine that any kid with IQ above 10 will see the parallel of this.
The series may even be targeted towards humour, making fun of
the XIII century european, while, at the same time, showing that
he was "evil" just because of ignorance.
What about a cartoon whose heroes are palestinian muslims,
palestinian christians, and israeli jews, who must fight with
superpowers to defeat an invasion from Evil Extraterrestrians?
